1. dějiny knihoven a knihovnictví
- písmo jako jeden z nejvýznamnějších vynálezů člověka. Kniha, její vnik a vývoj, vynález knihtisku a jeho význam. Knihovny a knihovnictví se starověku, evropském středověku a novověku.
2. české knihovnictví v letech 1918-1989
- první knihovnický zákon. vznik obecních, univerzálních a speciálních knihoven. knihovnické spolky. mezinárodní spolupráce. vnik SVK a rozvoj speciálních knihoven. Zákon o JSK. Knihovnické školství.
